Karl and Mary

When Karl & Mary walked into the restaurant I used to work at for their first date, I was nervous. Nervous for my dear friend, Karl, who really liked Mary and had gotten up the nerve to invite her to dinner. I tried not to hover over them during dinner, give them time to talk, but it was really...really...really hard. As they left, I thought "Gosh, they're cute. I hope the rest of the night goes as well as dinner."
